Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, and at least 21 years of age
- Proven work experience as a field service technician
- Ability to travel and work according to a changing schedule
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Mechanical and electrical skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Good computer knowledge with ability to use a tablet device
- Physically fit and able to work with heavy equipment
- Must have the minimum required tools
- Must pass drug screen
- Must be able to pass criminal background check (convictions will be considered on a case by case basis)
We are looking to hire an experienced Field Service Technician to handle the service and maintenance needs of our customers. As a Field Service Technician, you will be required to travel to customer locations, respond to service requests, troubleshoot equipment issues, and provide technical training on company equipment.
- Respond to customer callouts and field dispatches
- Meet with customers to determine the nature of the service or repair
- Conduct routine equipment servicing out in the field; may be asked to perform PM work if needed
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment failures
- Repair equipment and replace faulty parts
- Provide techinical training to customer if needed
- Maintain equipment stock in company vehicle
- Complete job orders
LTS technicians perform work on lift trucks, stackers, carriers, tuggers, etc. They diagnose, repair, maintain and service: safety systems and devices, drive systems, brake systems, steering systems, hydraulic systems and related components, fuel systems, frames, along with all related attachments, including heating/A/C systems. LTS technicians perform routine maintenance, replace worn or damaged parts, repair or rebuild parts, diagnose, adjust and/or repair systems for proper performance of the unit.
